There will be two NDP Platform meetings in the 3rd CD between May 14th and June 1st. They will be held in Scottsbluff and Grand Island. Richard Register, Chair of the Platform Committee will attend both of the meetings.
Input received at these, and at similar meetings scheduled in the 1st and 2nd CDs will be presented to the Platform Committee when it meets during the State Convention. This is your opportunity to be a part of deciding the Platform of the Nebraska Democratic Party. Please consider attending one of them.
The dates, times, and locations of these meetings will be announced at a later date.
Current NDP National Committeeman and candidate for re-election, Vince Powers, and State Chair candidate, Vic Covalt, will be hosting a reception in North Platte the evening before our upcoming CDO3 meeting. Please join them and take advantage of the opportunity to meet many of the good folks from Lincoln County and the surrounding area at the Rail Bar in the Depot Restaurant (520 North Jeffers, North Platte, NE) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
The 3rd CDO will meet in North Platte from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the McKinley Education Center, 301 W. F Street. Speakers will include several candidates for the NDP offices that are up for election at the upcoming NDP State Convention in Fremont. More details will be presented here as they become available.
